Working in a shop where birthday cakes are sold

Question :

What is the ruling on working in a Bakery  where Birthday cakes are being sold ?

Answer :

Shaykh answered by saying, No. It is not allowed for one to work in this kind of stores. Selling birthday cakes is not allowed and it’s from innovation. He said this act of celebrating birthdays and buy cakes with candles,  it’s an innovation.
