Donating blood to muslims and kuffar

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

The Imam Ibn Baz -rahimahullaah- was asked about donating blood and responded by saying:

There’s no harm in this or objection to this when necessary.

He was also asked about donating blood to a disbeliever who is in need of blood in which he responded:

I know of nothing which prevents this being that Allaah the Most High says:

(Allâh does not forbid you to deal justly and kindly with those who fought not against you on account of religion and did not drive you out of your homes. Verily, Allâh loves those who deal with equity.) {Al-Mumtahinah-8}.

Thus Allaah subhanahu has informed that he does not prevent us from the kuffar who do not fight against us or expel us from our houses (I.e. show enimty to the Muslims) to deal with them kindly…

To the end of his speech rahimahullaah.

The noble Shaykh’s of al-Islaam Al-Albani and Uthaymeen rahimahumallaah responded similarly to Ibn Baz in this affair as well as can be read in the following links.
