Is it wajib to breastfeed for two years ?

Is it incumbent upon the parents to breastfeed their child for two consecutive years or is it not wajib ?
Answer :
It’s not wajib for the parents to fulfill the two years of the breastfeeding. If they wish to do so, they can do so since this is something which is mustahab (recommended). So, it is permissible for them to stop breastfeeding their child before the completion of two years.
