Ruling of hand emoticons

Question #369:

What is the advice for those Muslims who take pictures of hands and feet (different body parts not the head).

And also posting hand emoticons on group chats ie.. Telegram, whatsapp etc.. ?

Answer :

Regardng taking the picture of body parts other than the head check the earlier fatwa here :

And regarding the emoticons (hand gestures), I have shown one of that icon to our Shaykh Abu Bilal, he told there is no problem.
