The first person to build the Masjid of the Qiblah was ‘Umar bin Al-Khattaab may Allaah be pleased with him, and praying in it is better than praying in the rest of Masjid Al-Aqsaa

Benefit:

“Umar bin Al-Khattaab may Allaah be pleased with him built the Musallaa at the front of Al-Aqsaa. So Masjid Al-Aqsaa is the name for the whole Masjid that Sulaymaan ﷺ built – i.e renewed – and some have become to call Al-Aqsaa the Masjid which ‘Umar bin Al-Khattaab may Allaah be pleased with him built, at the front, and praying in this Masjid which ‘Umar built is better and praying in the rest of the Masjid.”

Benefited from: Shaykh, the Allamah, the Trustworthy Advisor, Abu Abdirrahman Yahya bin Ali Al-Hajuri – may Allah preserve him.
