Attaching husband’s name with a woman’s name

Question:

A women has only one name in her records and to get the passport she need to specify the second name also (means the name should have first name and second name). Is it permissible for her to add her husband’s name as the second name?

Answer:

The correct way is to add her father name to her name (which shows the lineage of a person). It is not permissible to add her husband name or her husband’s family name to her name.

If there is no way that she can add her father name to her name and then in case of compulsion due to necessity she can add her husband name to her name.
