Taḥīyyah al-Masjid

Question :

What is the ruling of offering two units of prayer for Taḥīyyah al-Masjid?

Answer :

“Obligatory, according to that which is correct from the speech of the scholars due to the narrations on the authority ʾAbū Qatādah, Jābir and other than them;
“When you enter the masjid, don’t sit down until you offer two units of prayer”.”
