Is permitted to write names of persons like Abdullah on bottles which has urine sample for testing purpose ?
Answer :
It should be avoided as exaltation of Allah’s name. There are some scholars who say remembering Allah at the place of impurity is permitted based upon the Hadith.
Narrated by ‘Aishah (Radiallahu anhu) that The Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) used to lean on my lap during my menses and then would recite the Qur’an (Al Bukhari-297)
But writing of names like Abdullah as mentioned in the question should be avoided.
