Question :
What is the ruling of mentioning names of Kuffar while refuting their wrong Ideologies like Darwin ?
Answer :
The kuffar, there is no problem to mention thier names. Allah Ajja wa Jal mentioned Firawn, Qaroon, Hamaan and mentioned Abu Lahab but on the side of blame, warning and belittling and this the Wala and the Baraa, the loving of believers and having enmity for the Kuffar as the Allah told :
“You (O Muhammad Sallallahu Alaihi Wa sallam) will not find any people who believe in Allah and the Last Day, making friendship with those who oppose Allah and His Messenger (Muhammad Sallallahu Alaihi Wa sallam)” (Al Mujabilah – 22)
And this people are mentioned on the side of rejections, warning and fleeing people away from them and not from the side of wondering and praise and this is not allowed as Allah told :
“So let not their wealth or their children amaze you (O Muhammad SAW); in reality Allahs Plan is to punish them with these things in the life of the this world, and that their souls shall depart (die) while they are disbelievers.” ( At-Tawbah – 55)
