The Ruling on Praying in a Red Garment

Question:

What’s the ruling on the prayer in a red garment, whether or not it is mixed with other (colours)?

Answer:

Wearing a red garment is disliked, and from the people of knowledge are those who make it permissible. As for that which came in the hadith that the Prophet ﷺ wore a red garment from Yemen, then it’s pattern was black and red. Therefore, the prayer (in a red garment) is correct.
