Rebutting the comparison between the ‘Allaamah Al-Albaani and Rabee’ Al-Madkhali, in what relates to the Pillar of Actions in Emaan
“As for Imaam Al-Albaani, may Allaah have mercy upon him, he declares disbelief upon the one who abandons actions of the limbs upon totality, and that they are not saved from eternal damnation in the fire.
Whereby he, may Allaah have mercy upon him, in “Explanation of Adaabul-Mufrad sixth tape/face1”, said:
“Emaan without actions does not benefit, for when Allaah mentions Emaan He mentions it alongside righteous actions. Because we are not able to picture Emaan without righteous actions except if we imagine a person who believed here and said: “Laa ilaha illa Allaah Muhammadun RasulAllah” then died here, this we are able to picture. But as for a person saying: “Laa Ilaaha illa Allaah Muhammadun RasulAllaah” and to live his entire life of what Allaah has willed and not do a single righteous action??!
The absence of righteous actions is proof that he is just saying it with his tongue and Emaan has not entered his heart so the mentioning of righteous actions after Emaan points to the fact that the beneficial Emaan is the one which is paired with righteous actions.”
