Is clapping disallowed in Islam?

Answer :

Clapping is only allowed for the women whether it be in the prayer to bring to the imam attention of something or it be at times as weddings and other legal celebrations such as eid

It is something specific for them and its not from the traits of the men as we have been prohibited from that the proof is the saying of the messenger (Peace and Mercy be upon him) :

انما التصفيق للنساء

“Clapping is only for the women”
