Question 460

Here is a man who is upon salafiyyath but he is obliged to continue in a mixed medical school because of the pressure from family and the huge amount he has to pay as liquidated damage if he drop the course. He is involved in translating books of salafi manhaj. Can we benefit from his translations ?

Answer:

If this translator has with him trustworthiness and he has knowledge and he has goodness and translation requires trustworthiness, it is not easy matter. So, if he is known by goodness, reliability and trustworthiness then there is no problem, he is benefited from and the action in which he is involved, that is, studying in free mixing school then he is advised regarding it. He is advised that he fears Allaah because he is exposing himself to trials and Allah knows best what his matter may become after that, if he continues to be upon it and what may take place behind this trial and Allah’s help is sought. So he needs to be advised. So you have to advise him and we ask Allah subhanahu wa ta’ala that He grants you success and aid.
