Preparing dead body for burial in masjid

Our masjid is near to the hospital so the dead body (mayt) are prepared for burial in the masjid including washing and to kafiyn so there is special people do this and requires payment, is that halal ?

Answer :

أجاب الشيخ أبو حمزة حسن باشعيب

عقود البيع والإجارة لا يجوز عقدها في المسجد.

و سئل – فهل يجوز إذا كانت الإجارة لا يحصل في المسجد؟ أي يحصل في خارج المسجد أو في المكتب؟

قال – نعم يجوز

و قال الشيخ أبو حذيفة عبد الغني العمري

إذا كان هناك مكان الغسل يجوز

Shaykh Abu Hamza Hasan Ba shuaib hafidhahullah said,

(Regarding) the contracts of selling and renting, it is not permitted to make its contract in the masjid.

He was asked, Is it permissible if the renting does not take place inside the masjid? that is, it takes place outside the masjid or in the office?

He said – Yes. It’s permissible.

Shaykh Abu Hudhaifa Abdul Ghani Al Umari hafidhahullah said,

If there is a place of bath, then yes it’s permissible.
