Helping a christian uncle
Question :
Assalam alaykum. .need help a sister has a uncle who is a drunkard and a smoker…He presently has a serious ailment…He has been asked severally to stop also he’s started attending church too. ..Now the sister has some money she is wondering should she help a Muslim child or her Christian uncle. ..Who comes first? Please answer with evidences. May Allah reward you.

This matter need to looked in detail :
Firstly – If the sister thinks that he will come to Islam by giving him money and helping him out then yes, she can do by helping him out.
Secondly – If he is not going come back to Islam then its better to help out the muslim kids because the muslims are first in helping out.
Proofs available from the Quran and Sunnah….
Thirdly – Giving him as a gift is allowed. If the wealth from the sister to the uncle is a gifted this can be done.
Fourthly – If the wealth is a zakah then, its for the muslim only and and its not for the christians, the proofs are available….
