Doing the aqeeqah by a person who is under debt
Question :
Is it allowed to do the aqeeqah of the new born if the father is under debt or does he need to first pay off the debt and then do the aqeeqah ?
Answer :
if time for clearing the debt didn’t reach and he did the aqeeqah, then that is better and more preferable to us. But if it reaches the time, then it is better to clear the debt first. Correct point of view in the aqeeqah is, it is Sunnah.
