Al-Mu’dhal & Al-Munqati’

Benefit:

The Mu’dhal and Munqati’ (Disconnected) Hadith

(7) Al-Mu’dhal:

It’s what has fallen from it’s chain of narration two or more (people).

And Likewise:

(8) Al-Munqati’:

So this type, the ones who see it as a proof are rare.

And the best of that is what Maalik said: “It reached me that the Messenger of Allaah ﷺ said such and such.”

For verily Maalik is a verifier, perhaps his Balaghaat (his saying it has reached me) is stronger than the Maraaseel (Mursal Hadiths) like: Humayd, Qataadah.
