Is the prayer place of the woman part of the Masjid
Benefit:
His statement in this Hadith;
من سمع رجلا ينشد ضالة في المسجد
“Whoever hears a man anouncing lost property in the Masjid.”
And likewise also the affair of the women, if a woman hears another woman announcing lost property in the Masjid, for verily the Musallā (prayer place) of the women were not built except for the dhikr of Allāh. The refraining of some people in calling the Musallā of the women a Masjid is a mistake. It takes the ruling of the Masjid, they pray Tahiyyatl-Masjid (two Sunnahs before sitting) in it, and the women shouldn’t buy or sell in it or other than that, it takes the ruling of the Masjid. Verily the Masājid were only built for the dhikr of Allāh.
So what is specified as a Masjid for the women takes the ruling of the Masjid. The legislation is general for the men and women except what is exempt by the evidence, and there is no evidence.
The women – when it was free from fitnah – used to pray with the Prophet ﷺ and the men and the women used to pray in the Masjid, and it was called Masjid for men and women. As for when it was known that fitnah will occur a specific place of prayer was made in dedication to the women, with the same affairs and rulings and guidelines. It takes all its rulings concerning that.
