Enrolling in a section that doesn’t have free mixing in a university with free mixing

Question :

Can we enroll in the male section of a university which has separate sections for men and women?

Answer :

If some departments/sections of a university is free from free mixing and the knowledge you seek there is either compulsory ones like the knowledge of Quran and sunnah or permitted ones like the worldly sciences then there is no harm in joining there.

The Messenger sallallahu alaihi wasallam says,
“You are more aware about the matters of your worldly life”

So, there is no harm in that provided no evil is committed.
