Visiting a sick woman who is not a mahram

Question :

Is it permissible for me to visit a relative who is sick, but she is non-mahram for me.

Answer :

The shaykh said this issue has  tafseel (details), shaykh said if one man is going to see a sick women, this is allowed, But as he is mahram for her, the woman’s family has to be in the house, like brothers, father, uncles etc,.

Also he does not go into the room where she is staying in, but he will be in close by and he will speak to the family.

Proof : Hadith Abu Hurairah Radiallahu Anhu in Muslim,
“The rights of a muslim on a muslim is five…..”
And one of them is to visit the sick muslim.
