Some meat left over after circumcision

Question :

If a person gets circumcised and some of the meat remains on him, after the circumcision, what should he do?

Answer :

The Shaykh , he responded hafidhahullah by saying, It is reported by Bukhari and Muslim on the authority of Abu Hurairah radhiallahu anhu ,that the Fitrah is five things. From these five things that the Messenger sallalahu alayhi wasallam mentioned is the circumcision.

So if the person, if there remains upon him, after being circumcised some meat (flesh) especially at the tip of his private area and this meat it affects the cleanliness of the individual then he is to get rid of this meat.Meaning that, he should go back and do a proper operation to get rid of this meat, even if he is old in age. However,if the meat is not preventing the cleanliness of the person and it does not gather traces of urine or other than this from dirt, then the matter in this is open. Meaning that he has a choice of getting rid of it and he has a choice of leaving it.This is with the condition, that the meat is not preventing,or gathering any form of najasah (impurity) or dirt.
