If a brother takes his wife overseas and remains in the land of kufr to clear up loose ends like debt and bring back some money, can he take on another wife while his other waits? If so, is time due to the other one after he leaves the land of kufr and returns to her?
Answer :
The brother has mentioned reasons for him to remain in the.land of kufr to sort out things like debts or to bring money, so therefore if that the case then getting married to another wife may hold him back, from achieving his aims.
Secondly in regards to the period, Shaykh may allah preserve him said the brother will have to be fair and he need to discuss that issue between them.
