The Condition of Usāmah ʿAṭāyā

Question :

The Condition of Usāmah ʿAṭāyā

Answer :

To proceed:

“Usāmah ʿAṭāyā wanted to humiliate and reveal his own deviation, so he is so stubborn, as it is said:

‘It is a goat, even if it flies,’

and:

‘Give me back my grain which your rooster ate, or I want your rooster!’

So, we ask Allāh that He judges between him and us and that He settles between us. Indeed, He is the Best of the judges.

The ruqyah of our brother, Shaykh Salmān al-ʿImād, affected him, and the Shayṭān started speaking through his tongue. I hope he will be cured if the ruqyah is repeatedly done, the Shayṭān comes out of him, and he comes back to his senses.

The Shayṭān possessed many of the people of bidʿah; thus, they started chattering about that which they have no knowledge of.

Look at the Ṣūfiyyah and the Rāfiḍah, those whom the Shayṭān misguided until they associated partners with Allāh and believed it to be Tawḥīd.

Whereas the Rāfiḍah cursed the Companions of the Prophet ﷺ, took them as heretics, and believed that cursing them is a means to closeness to Allāh.

Hence, they make the enemy of Allāh, Khomeini, the friend of Allāh, and the friend of Allāh, Abū Bakr al-Ṣiddīq, the enemy of Allāh.

Similarly, the Ikhwān al-Muslimūn destroy the lands and believe that the correctness of the land and the slaves is due to it.

Allāh is Sufficient for us—the Best Disposer of Affairs.

So, they reverse the reality of affairs.

As Firʿawn said:

‘I show you only that which I see correct, and I do not guide you except towards guidance.’ [Ghāfir: 29]

We do not have any way to guide Usāmah ʿAṭāyā, since his desires have overcome him until no joint is left in his body except that his desires have seized it.

He speaks regarding the Salafī Daʿwah and exhibits protective jealousy for it while he is bent on destroying it.

Hence, Usāmah and his likes from the foolish are from those who cut the way towards goodness.

A daʿwah which has the likes of Usāmah and ʿArafāt al-Barmakī—do not expect good of it, since it is a daʿwah of fitan and deterrence.

All praise is for Allāh alone, who has purified the daʿwah of Ahl al-Sunnah from the likes of these foolish people.

‘The Euphrates is not polluted by a dog coming and urinating in it.’

And we have an appointed time when we will meet Allāh on the Day of Judgement, and He will judge between His slaves.

Where are the works of this ṭurṭūr—worthless one—Usāmah ʿAṭāyā?

He has a doctorate degree, and he did not benefit from it except the dunyā. Maybe he taught and did not benefit from it except foolishness, recklessness, and haughtiness.

So, we should not busy ourselves with him or his likes.

I advise the Barāmikah that they do not be happy with the likes of ʿAṭāyā in their ranks, because he deforms you, and tomorrow he will turn against you, since he is a person dominated by his desires.

He is not restricted by piety, penitence, and fear of Allāh, such that one is delighted by him.

He exhibits himself as if he is sincere and has concern, but his actual condition is similar to the saying:

‘One day, a fox appeared in the clothing of our advisor.’

‘He walked upon the land, talking regarding and abusing those who plot against us.’

‘And saying: All praise is for Allāh alone, the Deity of our world.’

‘O slaves of Allāh, repent. As if He is hastening for the repenting amongst us.’

Saying: Do not fly too much! The real life is the life of the ascetics.’

‘And saying: Request the rooster that he calls for the morning prayer for us.’

‘So, the rooster was reached by the leader of the pious from us.’

The matter was presented to him, hoping that he inclines.’

‘The rooster excused himself, saying: O most misguided from amongst the guided.’

‘Inform the fox regarding me and regarding the elders of our pious.’

‘Regarding the crowned ones against those having the cursed belly.’

‘Indeed, they said the best speech—the speech of the knowledgeable ones.’

‘The one who thinks that the fox is a person of dīn has indeed erred!’”
