The one who asks in the Name of Allaah is not to be rejected

Chapter: The one who asks in the Name of Allaah is not to be rejected

On the authority of Ibn ‘Umar may Allaah be pleased with them both, he said: “The Messenger of Allaah ﷺ said: “Whoever asks in the Name of Allaah then give him, and whoever seeks refuge in Allaah then grant him refuge, and whoever invites you, then accept his invitation, and whoever does some good to you, then repay him, and if you cannot find that which will repay him, then make du’aa for him until you think you have repayed him” [Reported by Abu Daawud and Nasaa’i with an authentic chain]

The First: Granting refuge to the one who seeks refuge in Allaah.

The Second: Giving the one who asks in the Name of Allaah.

The Third: Accepting invitations.

The Fourth: Paying back an action.

The Fifth: That du’aa is the only recompense for the one who is incapable of repaying.

The Sixth: His statement: “Until you think you’ve repayed him.”
