Do they attribute as partners to Allah those who created nothing but they themselves are created?

Benefit:

Chapter: The statement of Allaah

“Do they attribute as partners to Allah those who created nothing but they themselves are created? No help can they give them, nor can they help themselves.” [Al-A’raf: 191]

And His statement:

“And He has subjected the sun and the moon, each runs its course for a term appointed. Such is Allah your Lord; His is the kingdom. And those, whom you invoke or call upon instead of Him, own not even a Qitmir (the thin membrane over the datestone). If you invoke (or call upon) them, they hear not your call, and if (in case) they were to hear, they could not grant it (your request) to you. And on the Day of Resurrection, they will disown your worshipping them. And none can inform you like Him Who is the All Knower (of each and everything).” [Fatir: 13]

And in the Sahih from Anas, he said: “The Prophets ﷺ head was cut on the Day of Uhud, and his molar tooth was chipped, so he said: “How can a people who cut the head of their Prophet prosper?” So the verse was revealed:

(لَيْسَ لَكَ مِنَ ٱلْأَمْرِ شَىْءٌ)

“Not for you is the decision.” [Aal-Imraan: 128]

And in it: “From Ibn ‘Umar may Allaah be pleased with him, he heard the Messenger of Allaah ﷺ saying when he raised his head from rukoo’ in the last rak’ah from Fajr: Allaahumma curse so and so and so and so, after he said Sami’Allaahu liman Hamida Rabbanaa wa laka Al-Hamd, so Allaah revealed:

(لَيْسَ لَكَ مِنَ ٱلْأَمْرِ شَىْءٌ)

“Not for you is the decision.” [Aal-Imraan: 128]

And in a narration: “He was making du’aa against Safwaan bin ‘Umayah, and Sahl bin ‘Amr, and Al-Haarith bin Hishaam, so it was revealed:

لَيْسَ لَكَ مِنَ ٱلْأَمْرِ شَىْءٌ

“Not for you is the decision.” [Aal-Imraan: 128]

And in it is from Abi Hurairah may Allaah be pleased with him, he said: “The Messenger of Allaah ﷺ stood when

“And warn your tribe of near kindred.” [Ash-Shu’araa’: 214]

Was revealed, he said: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “O people of Quraish – or a similar statement – , ransom yourselves, I cannot avail you at all against Allaah; O sons of ‘Abbaas bin Abd al-Muttalib. I cannot avail you at all against Allaah, O Safiyya (the aunt of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, I cannot avail you at all against Allaah, O Faatimah, daughter of Muhammad, ask me of my wealth whatever you like, but I cannot avail you at all against Allaah.”

In it are Masaa’il (topics):

The First: Tafseer of the two verses.

The Second: The Story of Uhud.

The Third: Qunut of the Sayyid (leader) of the Messengers, and behind him are the leaders of the Wali’s saying Aameen in Salaah.

The Fourth: That the ones whom du’aa is being made against are Kuffaar.

The Fifth: That they did things that the majority of Kuffaar didn’t do, from it: Them cutting the head of their Prophet, and their eagerness to kill him. And from it: Mutilating those killed, with the fact that they are their cousins.

The Sixth: Allaah revealed upon him concerning that:

(لَيْسَ لَكَ مِنَ ٱلْأَمْرِ شَىْءٌ)

“Not for you is the decision.” [Aal-Imraan: 128]

The Seventh: His statement:

أَوْ يَتُوبَ عَلَيْهِمْ أَوْ يُعَذِّبَهُمْ فَإِنَّهُمْ ظَٰلِمُونَ

“Whether He turns in mercy to (pardons) them or punishes them; verily, they are the Dhaalimun (polytheists, disobedients, and wrong-doers, etc.).” [Aal-Imraan: 128]

The Eighth: Qunut concerning Nawaazil (Current Affairs).

The Nineth: Mentioning those whom du’aa was made against by their names and their fathers names in Salaah.

The Tenth: Cursing someone specific in Qunut.

The Eleventh: The story of ﷺ when the the verse was revealed to him.

The Twelfth: His seriousness ﷺ whereby he did what was the reason he was ascribed to being insane, and likewise if a Muslim were to do it now.

The Thirteenth: His statement to the far and near: So if he explicitly stated while he is the Sayyid of the Messengers that he cannot avail anything from the Sayyidah of the women of the world, and the people believe that he says nothing but the truth, then look at what has befallen into the hearts of specific people today, it becomes clear to him Tawheed and the strangeness of the (correct) religion.
