The ruling on cooperating in Da’wah with one who takes pictures, teaches in free mixing schools and is link to charity organizations


How do you deal with one who teaches in the free mixed schools and takes pictures of himself and is linked to Jam’iyyaat and he is participating with us in Da’wah?


This the speech has preceded on this a lot with what the summary is that the one who teaches in free mixed schools, his earnings is from unlawful earnings and that he is exposing himself to fitan, and he exposes others from the women, for if he is put to trial, then being put to trial by of him could be more, and there will occur from him glances and from them glances, it goes against the evidence of lowering the gaze from the Book and the Sunnah, and their action goes against;

إِيَّاكُمْ وَالدُّخُولَ عَلَى النِّسَاءِ فَقَالَ رَجُلٌ: يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَرَأَيْتَ الْحَمْوَ؟ قَالَ: الْحَمْوُ الْمَوْتُ

“Beware of entering upon the women, so a man said: “O Messenger of Allaah, what about the male relative of the wife’s husband?”, he sad: “The male relative of the wife’s husband is death.”

And other than it takes more precedence and other than it, and likewise also his joining with the people of Jam’iyyaat, whoever goes with them becomes busied with the Dunya.

Bring a scholar!, bring a caller to Allah!, bring a beneficial Salafi student of knowledge!, who came out from them, the people of Jam’iyyaat, the most they bring out is people of Dunya exerting themselves for it, each one wants more, and people of doubts, and people of pictures, sins, it could be said this is a sin, rather it is a major sin! It’s been threatened with the curse, threatened with punishment;

أَشَدُّ النَّاسِ عَذَابًا يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ المصوِّرون

“The most severely punished people on the Day of Judgement are the picture makers.”

وَلَعَنَ َالْمُصَوِّرَ.

“And he cursed the picture maker.”

رُجُ عُنُقٌ مِنَ النَّارِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ لَهُ عَيْنَانِ تُبْصِرَانِ وَأُذُنَانِ تَسْمَعَانِ وَلِسَانٌ يَنْطِقُ يَقُولُ إِنِّي وُكِّلْتُ بِثَلاَثَةٍ بِكُلِّ جَبَّارٍ عَنِيدٍ وَبِكُلِّ مَنْ دَعَا مَعَ اللَّهِ إِلَهًا آخَرَ وَبِالْمُصَوِّرِينَ

“A long neck will come out of the Fire on the Day of Judgment. It will have two eyes which can see, two ears which can hear, and a tongue which can speak. It will say: ‘I have been appointed to three: Every obstinate oppressor, everyone who called upon a deity besides Allah, and the picture makers.”

And you bring numerous proofs which threatening is like the threatening of the one who killed a soul which Allah made impermissible, as our Shaykh may Allah have mercy on him clarified in his article ‘Taswir Dhawaatl Arwaah’.

So he says so and so gave a Fatwa, and so and so gave a Fatwa, and he look for concessions, either he is weak in religion he’s not bothered about his religion, or he is looking for concessions for worldly gains and the aim which he is trying to reach.

Or he is ignorant incapable of distinguishing between the evidences, so the likes of him are not fit to establish Da’wah, the likes of that.

And we have seen in the Land of Yemen that the Jam’iyyaat and they have a tune of money, and indeed they gather a lot of the money, and you won’t find except a people who from them are those who went after this ideology and from them who went after that ideology, chasing the Dunya, and they didn’t establish anything knowledge-based, Da’wah based.

So it’s a waste, the weak ones go after it, those who can’t be patient upon poverty, they can’t be patient on knowledge, and they can’t be patient upon the Sunnah, and they can’t be patient upon distinction, people of doubts, and those who look for concessions, from here and there in order to eat on behalf of their religion, the likes of this.

People who grew up in Daar ul-Hadith in Dammaaj upon clarity and purity and distancing from Jam’iyyaat, and distancing from those doubts, so they went and perhaps there occurred to them poverty or tight condition, as happens to the upright men, as happens to the chaste men, as happens to the men who preserve their religion, this is the affair of many of the righteous, rather the Prophets of Allah most of them,

لم يورثوا دينارًا ولا درهما وإنما ورثوا العلم‏.‏ فمن أخذه أخذ بحظ وافر

“The Prophets who bequeath neither dinar nor dirham but only that of knowledge; and he who acquires it, has in fact acquired an abundant portion.”

Upon this I advise my brothers to have distinction and distancing from Hizbiyyaat and these Jam’iyyaat which put people to trial, Jam’iyyaat and political ideologies, deceived at politics, and after splendor, and after leadership, commander so and so, some of went from caller so and so changed to commander so and so, so you went down, you didn’t go up, you went down, from being a caller to Allah that perhaps use to shake the pulpits, to commander.

The dunyaa is full of leadership,

**So they inclined to the dunyaa, so they are milking it from behind

They do not allow the milk to accumulate (in the udder)**

At any rate these types by Allah, we are being merciful to them saying that they failed, they failed on the path, they failed in Da’wah, we ask Allah to inspire to us and them right guidance, for indeed they failed, you find him memorizing the Qur’an and he’s acquired a good portion of knowledge then he is struck by poverty a little then he flung into the clasps of Jam’iyyaat, they give him some days a little, and other days you ask, like so, and they don’t give except to one who inclines towards them or his condition becomes weak, they don’t give everyone.

This Da’wah from when it began, when it was distinguished, patient, the Jam’iyyaat had no favor over it, even if they gave, rarely, a droplet or rain as they say, one time they came to the Shaykh may Allah have mercy on him with a small box, they said this is the maktabah of a student of knowledge, a box written on it maktabah of a students of knowledge, they said we want you to collect it, he said leave it for the students, as for me I don’t do collections, the point of benefit is they want to gain people from it.

They go to the places of slaughtering and give one person a lamb and take a picture with ten, they give one lamb to one poor person and take pictures with ten people, and they say these are our slaughterings and we’ve been generous to the poor, for proof, and they let people eat at the tablespread then take picture of them, even some of our brothers said I don’t know if he’s present now he said by Allah look for a house for us to live with you, we’re tired, bread doesn’t reach to Jawf except the picture has reached to Kuwait, they take a picture and perhaps none has finished eating, and also the plastic bags, they waste the students of knowledge by it, Yaa Akhi being above this is a must, we ask Allah to rectify the situation.
