Difference between meaning of “Salamun Alaikum” and “Assalamu Alykum”

Question :

What is the difference between meaning of “Salamun Alaikum” and “Assalamu Alykum” ?

Answer :

One saying with “Ta’reef” (with Alif and Lam) and other with “Tankeer” (with Tanween).

Allah told :

What appears is the difference between both sayings is little and doesn’t effect the meaning. And Allah Told :

As for the meaning of this saying : May Allah protect you from every evil and harm and trail. And that you make dua for your Muslim brother with this. The meaning is same for both the sayings.
