Is there an expiation for those that break their fasts intentionally during Ramadhan?

Question:

May Allah be good to you Oh Shaykh.

What is there upon a person who broke their fast intentionally without a valid reason in Ramadhan?

Answer:

They are to repent to Allah due to their trespassing the boundaries of Allah, the Most High.

As for its expiation; he is not able to do that.

Upon him however is to repent and to often fast voluntary fasts, perhaps that will compensate for it.
