Encouragement for a student to have a basis in theiiki Arabic Language before starting Usūl Al-Fiqh

Is having studied some texts in grammar before embarking upon studying the sciences of Usūl Al-Fiqh preferred?

Answer:

What’s incumbent upon a seeker of knowledge is to gradually progress in obtaining it. And from the foundations which the sciences of Usūl Al-Fiqh are built upon: is the Arabic Language.

From knowing the meanings of the word, of generality, specificality, unrestrictedness, and restrictedness, ambiguous, clear, and other than this.

For this reason it’s very important that the seeker of the sciences of Usūl has a basis in language and grammar, so that they can obtain this knowledge with a correct obtaining.
