What’s the authenticity of the Hadīth:

At the end of time there will be a plenitude of recitors and a deficiency of Fuqahā.

Reported by Tabarāni in Mu’jam Al-Awsat on the authority of Abu Hurayrah, may Allah be pleased with him.

Answer:

In its chain of narration is:

Ibn Luhay’ah and he is weak due to his bad memory and becoming mixed up.

And it’s in “Silsilah Ad-Da’ēfa” (3712) of Shaykh Al-Albāni, may Allah have mercy upon him.
