And Hell Shall be Made Apparent for Whoever Sees

Benefit:

Allah the Mighty and Majestic said:

{وبرزت الجحيم لمن يرى}

“And Hell shall be made apparent for whoever sees.” [An Naziyaat:36]

The Shaikh explained this as:

“The fire of Hell will be made apparent for all of mankind, the believer and the disbeliever, to see with their eyes. The believer will come to know on that day the reality of the favor that Allah has favored him with in this worldly life of Belief and Guidance. While the disbeliever will be terrified and filled with regret from what he did in his life of disbelief and his stubbornness of the truth that he will wish that he could be turned into dirt, then to be thrown in the fire of Hell.”

As it came in Sahih Muslim on Ibn Masood which is attributed to the Prophet ﷺ as saying, “The Hellfire will be brought out with seventy thousand chains, on each chain will be seventy thousand angels pulling it.”

So the Shaikh went on to explain: “Just seeing the Hell fire is terrifying enough. There will be no doubt about which religion is true after this day. Mankind will know with certainty that the greatest favor in this world is Islam. It is the only thing that will save him from the punishment of the Hell fire. There is nothing more valuable in man’s life than his religion. He must safeguard it at all cost because if he looses it he will be subjected to the worst punishment the world has never known.”
