Making supplication to Allah without taking means
Question :
Is it permissible to make dua to Allah subhanahu wa taala concerning for example if you have a tattoo and you don’t want to get a surgery to get it removed like a scientific impossibility however to make dua that Allah removes the tattoo without having any scars and this is without carrying any means. Is it permissible to make these kind of dua ?
Answer :
The Shaykh hafidhahullah said, Allah subhanahu wa taala is capable of doing all things. However Allah has ordered us to take means so it is a must that we take a means.
