There is no difference between manhaj and knowledge

Answered by our Shaykh, the ‘Allaamah, the Sincere Adviser, Abu ‘Abdirrahman Yahya bin ‘Ali Al-Hajoori – may Allaah preserve him – on the 3rd of rajab 1431:

Question:

What is the ruling on separating knowledge and manhaj, to say for example:
“This lesson knowledge based” and what is intended by that fiqh and it’s foundations, Al-hadeeth, and aqeedah and nothing is studied in it except that which relates to the rulings of the three different types of tawheed?

Answer:

This division has no basis, for verily tawheed and aqeedah and the rest of that is from manhaj, all of it, it’s outlet is one and is all taken from the book of Allah and the Sunnah of the Prophet ﷺ. I swear by Allah Al-bukhaari and Muslim nor any of the imaams from the salaf never used to separate between aqeedah and manhaj nor between aqeedah and likewise…where as they would say:
“My aqeedah is salafi and my manhaj is harakee..”
All of this is from those that want to hide the truth with falsehood.
