Can a Masjid be in a rented building ?

Question :

In my local in Atlanta, Ga. I see a strange thing in how Muslims establish masaajid. Either they rent a building and establish this as a masjid or they collect funds by way of jameeyat/fundraising and purchase a masjid. My question is? Are these places masaajid, if they established it upon hizbiyyah?

Answer :

Yes, these are masaajid, knowing the way they have purchased the masjid maybe not correct however it’s a masjid, and also praying in these masaajid need to be careful, do not pray in unless the Imam is from ahlu sunnah.
