Attending of Fajr prayer in Masjid for a person having illness of cold
Question :
In the UK during the winter periods where it gets very cold during the times of Fajar and Esha and many brothers get illnesses such as colds, coughs, sore throats etc which often can deteriorate in the cold. Can the brothers pray at home until they recover or must they go to the masjid and have tawakul ?
Answer :
if they can the attend congregation, then it is waajib on them. If they are feared on themselves like increasing of illness or increase in take time for cure, then it is permissible to do their prayer from their homes.
