Praying behind an Imam who leaves some actions of Sunnah

Question :

When we pray behind a hanafi imam (who doesn’t do Rafa al-yadain) should we do the Rafa al-yadain, saying out loud ameen etc or should we leave this sunnah in order not to contradict the imam?

Answer :

Shaykh answered by saying that it’s not correct to follow any imam in salaat in that which he opposes the sunnah. The sunnah has more right to be followed and the imam is to be followed in that which is correct. Shaykh said to fulfill the all movements. Allaah knows best.
