Are there metaphors in the Sunnah?

Question:

We know that there’s no Majaaz (metaphors) in the Qur’aan, so is there Majaaz in the Sunnah?

Answer:

The Qur’an and Sunnah are the truth, and Majaaz is a lie, Majaaz is not upon reality, and the Qur’an and Sunnah are reality, so not in the Qur’an or in the Sunnah.

It’s disputed over in the Arabic language also, verily it’s called manner/style of the Arabs or such, as for Majaaz.

What is better is nullifying Majaaz to begin with, and the word Majaaz, because they took it as a means to destroy the Sunan and the Attributes (of Allaah).

And the conclusion is every statement about such and such they say Majaaz, and what is affirmed by the evidence is affirmed and what isn’t is negated. The Names and Attributes of Allah are affirmed, and it’s said to what has come similar to the likes of this that the Qur’an came with it, it’s from the manners/styles of the Arabs,

“A wall (intending) about to collapse and he (Khidr) set it up straight.” [Al-Kahf: 77]

They said: “A wall doesn’t intend.”

If Allah wanted to make it have intent he could make it. And the Qur’an came with it, it’s mentioned as it came in the Qur’an;

“(Intending) about to collapse.”

“Uhud is a mountain which loves us and we love it.”

“Verily I know of a stone in Makkah which used to give me Salaam…”

The likes of this.

They say;

“And your Lord comes with the angels in rows.” [Al-Fajr: 22]

The say: “This is Majaaz, the origin is,

“The Commandment of your Lord has gone forth.”

And they negate the Attributes based on Majaaz.
