Sujood on seven bones, beginning with the hands before the knees, and the prohibition of tieing/folding up

Benefit:

▪️ Sujood on seven bones and they are: The forehead, the hands, the knees, the tips of the toes.

▪️ The intent with hands: Inner palm, (pray as you see me pray)

▪️ Its ruling is obligatory due to the evidences, ‘we were commanded’ or ‘he commanded us’.

▪️ The forehead includes the nose upon the correct opinion, because it’s not possible to do sujood on the forehead without the nose, and due to the proof (he pointed to his forehead and nose) and Al-Bukhaari made a chapter (baab sujood on the nose due to the on going differing)

▪️ It’s not a must to uncover the ‘Imaamah (turban) from the forehead for it to touch the floor during sujood, just as it’s not a must to uncover the thawb (garment) from the knees to touch the floor.

▪️ The seven bones is accepted in the general meaning, not in detail, otherwise one hand alone has numerous bones in it.

▪️ Descending for sujood first is on the hands then the knees, due to the evidences (he fell in sujood, one of us’ used to not lean his back forward)

▪️ Tieing/Folding Up the hair and thawb is prohibited in Salaah, whether he tied/folded before he began Salaah or during Salaah.
