Rulings pertaining to miscarriage

Question 1:

I want to know the rulings of miscarriage. How old does it have to be to pray over it and when is it not prayed over?

Answer:

If the soul has been blown into it it’s prayed over, and if the soul hasn’t been blown into it whereby it’s just a clot, morsel of flesh, it’s not prayed over it.

Question 2:

Also when does the mother take the ruling of Nifaas (post natal bleeding)?

Answer:

If she has a miscarriage, she takes the ruling of Nifaas, if it comes out with a form. For from them are those who have a miscarriage and it has a form, it’s not mere blood or a morsel of flesh, rather it has a form and it has fingers which can be seen and a head which can be seen, and so and so forth. So this is called a miscarriage, and it’s not like that one said it doesn’t take the ruling of a miscarriage, even if it was three months old, this is a miscarriage, it’s mother takes the ruling of Nifaas, she is considered Nufasaa’a.

Also, even if it has a form, it’s not prayed over until the soul is blown into it, as for before that the no. But verily it’s mother takes the ruling of Nifaas if it takes a form.

Question 3:

Is it (the fetus) an inheritor?

Answer:

No it’s not an inheritor. The new born doesn’t inherit except if it comes out alive, and starts screaming. As for if it comes out dead it doesn’t inherit.
