How to pray Tarāwēh in Makkah

Question:

In the Masjid Al-Harām in Makkah they pray 23 rak’ahs, shall we continue praying with them or pray 8 and leave and delay Witr JazākAllāhu khairan?

Answer:

Continue with them until the 11th rak’ah and sit for the Tashahhud and intend seperating, then make the Salām and disperse.
