Doing Business with Banks that have Interest

Question:

Is it permissible to do business with a bank by ordering a product from China then by putting the value of this product in the bank while they inform the seller about this, they also don’t give them the money until I receive my product? If this is not permissible then is it permissible to send money via the bank to another person in another country in order to buy the product?

Answer:

Whatever is a necessity then the necessity makes that which is prohibited permissible. The principle is that there is no prohibition if there is a necessity the same way that there is no wājib (obligation) with inability. Therefore if a person is forced to do this and there is no way to get to his product except this method then he can use it, however if he finds another way (that is permissible) then he should use it.

And Allah knows best.
