Weakness of hadeeth about reciting Ayat-ul-Kursi when existing from house and entering house

The hadeeth about ayatul-kursee which was asked about can be found in the book of Abdur-Rahman bin Abdus-Salam As-Safwari titled “Nuzhatul-Majalis…”

Whoever its wording is: On the authority of Jabir bin Abdullah radiyallahu anhu the Messenger sallallahu alaihi wa sallam said :

“Whoever recites ayatul-Kursee when he departs from his home Allaah will entrust him to seventy thousand angels protecting him from in front and behind him and on the right of him and the left of him and if he passes away before returning to his house then Allaah will give him the reward of seventy martyrs”.

And in another hadeeth also found in the same book on the authority of Abu Hurariah radiyallahu anhu that the Messenger sallallahu alaihi wa sallam said:

“Whoever exits his house and reads ayatul-Kursi, Allaah will send for him seventy thousand angels seeking forgiveness for him and supplicating for him and if he returns to his home and reads ayatul-Kursi then poverty will be removed from his home”.

However I was informed by a noble brother that neither hadeeth has a chain of narration and is not found in the know books of hadeeth.

Based upon this then the hadeeth is weak. As a hadeeth not having a chain of narration and not being present in the known books of Sunnah is a clear sign of its weakness.
