The path of Ahlus-Sunnah is blessed

By our Shaykh, the ‘Allāmah, the Trustworthy Advisor, Abū ‘Abdirrahmān Yahya bin ‘Alī Al-Hajūri – may Allāh preserve him –

“The path that Ahlus-Sunnah traverse upon is a blessed, calm, beneficial, knowledge based path, the good ones love it, and the evil ones despise it, and the evil ones have not been the enemies of the religion of Allāh for a short period of time, rather they are enemies of the Messengers;

“And thus have We made for every Prophet an enemy from among the criminals and sufficient is your Lord as a Guide and a Helper.” [Al-Furqān, 31]

And with that Allāh said about them:

“Surely those who act in opposition to Allāh and His Messenger shall be subdued as those before them were subdued; and indeed We have revealed clear signs” [Al-Mujādilah, 5]

I.e Allāh clarified their subduing, for verily they’re opposers to Allāh whether they know or not, and whoevers affair is like this then Allāh will humiliate him as Allāh said:

“Surely (as for) those who are in opposition to Allāh and His Messenger; they shall be among the most abased.” [Al-Mujādilah, 20]

“Allāh has ordained: I will most certainly prevail, I and My Messengers; surely Allāh is Strong, Mighty.” [Al-Mujādilah, 21]

By Allāh if the society knew the virtue of this dawah and the good of this dawah and blessing of this dawah upon society they would not fall short in loving it and aiding it, a person praying to the qiblah, a person has good in him, but the Shaytān is his enemy he diverts the people from what is good for them in this life and the next

“Shaytān threatens you with poverty and enjoins you to do evil deeds, and Allāh promises you forgiveness from Himself and abundance;” [Al-Baqarah, 268]

A dawah that cultivates upon knowledge, and knowledge is in this life and the next

“Allāh will raise those of you who believe, and those who are given knowledge, in high degrees; and Allāh is All-Aware of what you do.” [Al-Mujādilah, 11]

A dawah which cultivates upon the sunnah, and the sunnah is the true religion of Allāh

“and whatever the Messenger gives you, accept it, and whatever he forbids you then refrain from” [Al-Hashr, 7]

“Certainly you have in the Messenger of Allāh an excellent exemplar” [Al-Ahzāb, 21]

So there is nothing better than taking the Messenger of Allāh as a role model, whoever wants any good deed then let him take the Messenger of Allāh as a role model in it, a dawah free from trials, and bring forth a trial that appeared as history passed that came from the dawah of the Messenger of Allāh and his companions and whoever traversed upon their path, verily the trials and disarray appear from the opposite of that from those who do not hold onto the sunnah and do not hold onto it with the molar teeth and perhaps it occurs that he knew something of the sunnah and then was put to trial or the like of this, as for the one who was upon the sunnah and he speaks with it and defends it and firm upon it and calls to it then he is in fortified from trials.

“I’ve left you upon the likeness of a bright white path, it’s night is like it’s day, none deviates from it except he will be destroyed.”

The meaning of it is whoever remains upon it is fortified he will not be destroyed, rather in the safety of Allāh as long as he doesn’t deviate from it, and those who deviate from it whoever it was exposed himself to destruction.”
