Making duʿā before salām in language other than Arabic

Question #328:

Is it permissible to make duʿā before salām in salāh in a language other than arabic?

Answer:

The one who is unable to make invocation in Arabic can make an invocation in another language, however the adhkār for the salāh must all be in Arabic, i.e the takbīr, rukūʿ, sujūd etc.

This is the fatwā of our Shaykh Abul-Yamān ʿAdnān al-Masqarī ḥafiẓahullāh.
